DOBOT CRA collaborative robot family

The DOBOT CRA series is DOBOT's new generation of six-axis collaborative robots, covering 3 kg to 20 kg payloads and 620 mm to 1700 mm reach. Every model shares the same controller, software and safety system, so it is easy to pick the right size for machine tending, welding, palletising, assembly or pick-and-place. With a proper risk assessment, CRA cobots can work safely alongside people without fencing. The CR3A, CR5A and CR10A are also available with DOBOT SafeSkin (CR3AS, CR5AS, CR10AS).

  • High-performance integrated joints with EtherCAT servo bus for fast cycle times
  • Laser-calibrated for high accuracy; electromagnetic brakes hold position within 1 mm on power loss
  • Stand-alone PLd Cat.3 safety controller with 20+ safety functions (ISO 13849-1, ISO 10218-1, ISO/TS 15066)
  • 24 DI / 24 DO (PNP and NPN), Modbus TCP/RTU, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET as standard
  • DobotStudio Pro: drag-to-teach, Blockly and Lua scripting, virtual controller and process packages for welding, palletising and CNC tending

  • SafeSkin electronic skin senses people up to 15 cm before contact
  • 0.01 s monitoring and 0.1 s response for safe, fast human-robot interaction up to 1 m/s
