The eRailMAB 450 is BDS's battery-powered rail drilling machine for track construction and maintenance. It needs no generator or mains supply, so railway teams can drill rail webs right where the work is. A brushless 1100 W motor gives efficient, low-maintenance running, and the quick clamping system fits it to different rail profiles with rail adapters. Variable speed, a reversible motor and ergonomic handles make it safe and easy to use every day. It runs on an 18 V / 10.4 Ah Li-ion battery and comes in a heavy-duty carry case with wheels.
