BDS MAB 485 / MAB 485 SB Magnetic Drilling Machine – ProfiPLUS

The MAB 485 is BDS's best-selling magnetic drill: compact, 13 kg, and built for core drilling up to 50 mm with carbide (TCT) cutters, plus tapping to M16, twist drilling, reaming and countersinking. It is a dependable all-rounder for steel fabrication, structural work and maintenance, in the workshop or on site.

The MAB 485 SB adds BDS's Swivel Base: once the magnet is on, the drill unit swivels 20° left and right and slides 15 mm forward and back, so you can line up on a centre punch without lifting and re-seating the magnet.

Both versions come with the keyless 19 mm Weldon quick-change arbor, a reversible motor for tapping, and a Morse Taper 2 spindle for drill chucks and taper-shank tools.
